Amy provides strategic leadership for CEA’s marketing, communications, and innovative initiatives to strengthen CEA’s position as an industry leader in environmental consulting services—specializing in natural resources, EHS & compliance, and environmental risk management. She is accountable for leading a rebranding effort, supporting internal process improvement work groups, serving as a community relations liaison, and generally assisting a rapidly growing organization committed to building a sustainable future.
Amy is a versatile and connected community development professional with nearly 20 years’ experience in business, government, and the nonprofit sector, including 10 years running her own consulting firm and 5 years as an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship and Urban Studies. Her strengths include idea generation and implementation, stakeholder coordination, participatory facilitation, and public speaking.
As a social entrepreneur, Amy is the founder/host of the What’s Hot TV Show + Podcast spotlighting sustainable solutions and is developing a corporate social responsibility (CSR) accelerator program to train and connect young people seeking real-world experience with socially and environmentally conscious organizations in need of interns.
Amy holds a Master of Arts in Community Development & Planning from Clark University (thesis focused on factors influencing sustainable community development) and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies/ Spanish from the University of Vermont (thesis analyzed what prompted people living in a rural Vermont town to test their well water).
