CEA offers an array of EHS Training Services to its clients including Occupation Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response) training, DOT (Department of Transportation) Hazardous Materials Transportation training and EPA RCRA (Resource Conservation & Recovery Act) Hazardous Waste Management training.   CEA also offers Company-specific EHS Program Development and Industrial Hygiene Services.

OSHA HAZWOPER Site Safety Training Services

CEA offers a full selection of support services for companies engaged in activities covered by the OSHA HAZWOPER Standard including the development of Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans, safety program development and implementation, hazardous waste site monitoring and worker onsite safety training.   OSHA HAZWOPER training courses offered by CEA include the initial 40-hour and 24-hour training courses, 8-hour refresher courses and Site Supervisor training courses.  Training can be conducted at the customer’s location or at CEA’s state of-the art Training Facility located at its West Boylston, Massachusetts complex.

OSHA Standard-Specific Training

CEA offers OSHA Standard-specific training courses involving topics such as respiratory protection, blood-borne pathogen protection,  confined space entry awareness, lock out/Tag out (LOTO), chemical hygiene, hearing conservation, and powered industrial trucks and training for specifically-regulated substance such as lead, cadmium and arsenic.  CEA can tailor the OSHA training course to meet your specific needs or develop OSHA training programs for your specific business or industry needs.

DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training

CEA provides training for customers involved in shipping and transportation of Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials including general awareness training, function specific training, safe handling and emergency response, security awareness, site–specific security plan and driver training. Workers involved in the shipment and transportation of hazardous materials need to be aware of, and provide employee training on, such topics as the use of the hazardous materials table, shipping papers, appropriate packaging, marking, labeling and placards.

EPA RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Training

CEA provides training services to ensure compliance Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and State specific requirements for hazardous waste handling. CEAs training is tailored to the large quantity generator (LQG) or small quantity generator (SQG) of hazardous wastes.  Generators of hazardous waste need to ensure workers are aware of the storage area, storage volume and time limits, shipping papers, labeling, signage and emergency response and contingency planning requirements mandated in the EPA hazardous waste regulations.
